Serve allows you to get more involved and take your next steps in BCM. You'll meet new people and link arms when you join a Serve Team. Your Serve Team will meet weekly for 1-2 hours. Some teams meet at the same day/time each week while others vary. When you sign up for Serve, you are signing for one semester with the option of resigning up the next semester if you would like to. When you resign up, you can stay on the same Serve Team or change to a different team, provided that team has an opening. Check out the different Serve Teams below. Let us know your top two teams of choice on your sign up forms. Choose the adventure!

There are 1,460 international students at Clemson from 89 different countries. Leviticus 19:34 tells us, "You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God." We reach out to love the world that has come to us as we in turn learn so much from them!
This team meets on Fridays from 3-5pm at a nearby apartment complex to spend time with kids and youth. They also host seasonal get-togethers around holidays and breaks. Team size is 8-10 students, and we need both male and female.
Our goal is befriending our neighbors for long term relationships that preserve the value and dignity of local residents. It is easy to see certain neighborhoods as social and economic weaknesses. We can choose to dwell on these weaknesses, or we can choose to see potential. We can choose to see marginalized individuals, or we can choose to see friends and neighbors. This team will take the posture of learners by working together to build friendships for the restoration, peace, & empowerment that Jesus brings to us all.
This team serves children and youth every Friday from 3-5pm at a nearby children's home. Team size is 10-12 students, and we need both girls and guys. Volunteers must go through a SLED and Central Registry background check.

Clemson Downs is a retirement home with amazing people from all walks of life. This serve team of 5-10 will visit with residents on Fridays from 3-5pm. The goal is just that, relationships. Get to know residents through conversations and meeting tangible needs. While the older generation is often marginalized in our society, we believe they have invaluable worth. They have much to bless our culture with, including wisdom, talent, and leadership. Serve them as they bless you!
